You're Not Like the Other Girls Chrissy

Longcroft School is proud to be working with the Beverley Arts Trust to bring this award-winning production to Beverley. The play, which previewed at the Edinburgh Festival, is on a UK tour and will be stopping in our Theatre on Wednesday 8th February at 7.30pm. Following huge acclaim from audiences and critics at last year’s Edinburgh Festival; Caroline Horton presents her one-woman show – “You’re not like the Other Girls Chrissy”. Paris 1945:  Christiane waits for a ticket to England that will reunite her with her fiancé. While she waits, this irrepressible mademoiselle recounts the love story between her – an eccentric, acutely-myopic Parisian – and a tongue tied English teacher from Staffordshire. Comic theatre at its most moving and inspiring this unmissable portrayal of one woman’s experience of love and war won Best Solo Performer at The Stage Awards 2010
